Rio put into this work shows, and I bow down to authors who give me jaw dropping moments of foreshadowing that is not too forced or only discovered through taking time with the work and looking into its subject matter. The clues and awe is unlocked after searching through the plays and the artistry to find the revelations and tie-ins to the story. Yeah, you could read this book straight through and enjoy it, but this book is not meant to just be read. I guess with time a person can change especially when it comes to the benefit of a mystery read with bookish besties! Here I am now ready to reread the great works and give them another chance. As a reader who has been strongly opposed to touching any Shakespeare after my distaste when it was forced into my curriculum growing up. My drama and literature teachers would be so proud if they knew how much analyzing I did while reading this. 4.25 “Secrets carry weight, like lead.” Stars ![]()
